Representative Linsky Meets The Insurance Man

Will Rogers may have said he never met a man he didn't like. He would have hated the Tax Man though for there is never a revenue enhancement scheme a Democrat never liked.
Last Friday (1/18/13) Democratic State Representative David Linsky proposed an insurance scheme that would be forced upon all registered gun owners in the state of Massachusetts. He said on Friday, "...insurance companies were able to discourage smoking through the marketplace and made cars safer through the marketplace."
The idea is to create 'financial incentives' (there's that word again) that would reduce accidents and injuries related to guns. Conveniently the word death never enters the conversation. I wonder if the good Rep had one of those " I coulda had a V8!" moments when he realized that taking all the guns away had a snowball's chance in hell of succeeding whereas the old Liberal standby of taxing something to death is a tried and true standard operational procedure with a track record of success.

Here is how the scheme works.
After you exploit a crisis in the media and get the peasants all ginned up you enact legislation. It doesn't matter one bit if the legislation or the language of the legislation has anything to do with the crisis at hand.
Think 'earmarks', think 'pork'. Look at the Sandy Bill.
Then there is the money. Always follow the money. Insert some tug at your heartstrings language into the bill to fund 'awarenes' programs , or 'educational' programs and never..Ever...Forget the 'victims'. This is probably the most important ingredient.
Now all this has to be paid for. Right? Your getting warmer now!

Still trying to find the 'financial incentive'? Me too. Check the desk drawer, maybe Linsky left it there.

How does buying insurance for something we do not want and do not need a financial incentive? How does having my car insured give me a financial incentive? I still have to worry about all the other nuts out there on the road. They certainly don't seem incentivized. Think the illegal criminal gun owners who could care less are incentivized?
There are only two things in the state of Taxachusetts that are not taxed. Food and clothing. Everything else on the surface of the planet Earth is fair game according to the all knowing, all seeing eye of Bacon Hill. At night the gilded dome on Tremont Street opens up and the eye of Mordor sweeps across the countryside searching for the next revenue enhancement.
You buy a gun and it is taxed. Ammunition. Taxed. Lock-box for the gun. Taxed. Separate lock-box for the ammunition. Taxed. Permits, classes, certifications. Taxed. Taxed. Taxed.
Now the insurance man will be knocking on your door?...Priceless..

What's that under the couch?...Oh, I thought I saw the financial incentive roll under there.

The incentive comes from a lower monthly premium . If you show Mr. Insurance man you performed D: all of the above, you get a discount on your bill. Apparently not forced to pay such a bill in the first place doesn't count as a financial incentive.
It probably never occurred to Rep. Linsky that in order to obtain a firearms permit you have to perform D: all of the above anyway as per Massachusetts General Laws. It probably didn't matter anyways because we are dealing with Democrats here folks. Why enforce an existing law when they can just make up new ones.

I am sorry Representative Linsky, but it was not the marketplace that reduced cigarette smoking. It was the weeks of Senate hearings where (after taking PAC money for decades) tobacco companies were crucified before the public. The subsequent legislation resulted in higher costs to consumers, a complete ban on all advertising, payments in the billions to (you guessed it) the victims. Tobacco was forced to fund all the awareness and educational programs to keep teens away from smoking. The result is a Federal Law that has made criminals of teenagers who smoke.
While I am on the subject, try calling up your legislator and asking where these awareness and educational programs can be located. Good luck. They don't exist.
Nor was it the marketplace that made cars safer. It was Ralph Nader, the EPA, the NTSB, Highway Institute and Mothers Against Drunk Driving. The rest came from government regulations.
In fact, all regulations have managed to create is higher costs and an economic model where the big fish eat the little fish. If you can afford the regulations (that you help craft) you win. If you are a small business (who never got invited to the hearings) you go out of business. Get it?
Lastly, lets not forget the hefty donations to your friendly neighborhood Political Action Committee. That is where the marketplace is Rep. Linsky. In Congress something somewhere is always being bought and sold.

Which reminds me. Politicians and business' don't take a dump without an angle. I wonder what Representative Linsky's angle is?
Glad you asked Christopher. Here is a link to his legislation.

http://natick.patch.com/articles/rep-linsky-files-legislation-aimed-at-reducing-gun-violence

According to this other link, he rates pretty low with small business owners and is a tax and spend Liberal. SOP for most Mass legislators. His ratings with gun owners and associated groups gave him a failing grade.

http://votesmart.org/candidate/evaluations/1971/david-linsky

In the legislation he proposes he is adamant about his reaching out to gun owners in developing this gem yet the interest groups listed above give him a failing grade while most of his associations with urban housing development and pro-life groups can't say enough about him.
I think I just found the financial incentive.

As I have stated, the legislation doesn't have to have any relation to the crisis. Just raise the money, tax the consumers till they just stop buying something. This is known as attrition. Force citizens to purchase something they neither want nor they need, then penalize them for non compliance.
Where have we heard that one before?

40th Anniversary of Roe-v-Wade: 50 Million Dead Babies And Counting

Syndicated writer Gail Collins penned a phenomenal piece in last Sunday's (1/13/13) Telegram and Gazette paper. It was so well written, so well phrased that... I threw up.
True to her standard Liberal form she lauded over the 40th anniversary of Roe vs Wade and how the SJC made this a cornerstone of women's rights in America. Never mind the fact that a woman's right to an abortion existed long before the decision was handed down, oh no, no, no the SJC had to legislate from the bench and women have been pawns of the Margarette Sanger ideology ever since.
To date there has been well over 50 million babies murdered since that fateful day in the hallowed halls of the SJC. Hitler would have been proud. That's 50 million chances to have cured AIDS, 50 million chances for a President who isn't Obama, 50 million chances for the next Neil Armstrong, 50 million chances for...oh forget it.
According to Gail Collins Planned Parenthood has an image problem. Ahh, ya think? So the talking heads who run the coat hanger club (in usual Orwellian Progressivism) are thinking about changing the name to be more user friendly. GOOD! Considering the fact that the moniker 'Planned Parenthood' has absolutely nothing to do with planning for parenthood. And no, they do not provide other health services to women. Just call them up and ask them if you don't believe me.
Collins laments how various states are imposing regulations of abortion services. Some states are utilizing what Liberals have asked for in gun registration. A sort of, cooling off period to reconsider your choice. Collins claims innocent women are caught in a tangled web of regulations. Too bad. It is called the Tenth Amendment and states have the right to regulate whatever they want within their own borders. Not to worry Gail, it is not like the Constitution has gotten in the way of the Liberal Agenda before so why start now?
She continues with a great line: " ...women do not like labels." Now there's a shocka! "... feminism, a word with a glorious history." That is unless you are a man who has lost everything in a divorce including visitation rights thanks to the language orchestrated by the National Organization of Women in our divorce laws. Is it that same glorious history that gave women immunity in The Violence Against Women Act from perjury charges when it is proven they lied about domestic violence? Is it the same glorious history that created a family court system that routinely awards custody to women over 85% of the time regardless of mental instability, marital infidelity and drug/alcohol abuse?
I often think of my departed mother everytime I hear a Progtard moonbat bloviate about women's rights. My mother spent most of her life as a wife and mother until my parents divorced in the 70's. Suddenly she had to become a 'Liberated Woman'. She never wanted to be one because she ended up losing all her power as a wife and mother in the process. She ruled her world. No one said 'boo' in our house without her say-so. Afterward she had a difficult time finding her identity as this modern Liberated Woman. In fact, my mother never experienced sexism in the workplace from her male co-workers and bosses. Quite the opposite, they loved her, looked out for and up to her. Her female co-workers? Now that's another story.
So when I hear some mal-informed activist blather about women's rights I want to choke a puppy. These moonbats wouldn't know sexism if it ran them over with a tractor.

Collins continues with great quotes. Betty Thompson, former Mississippi director of the scrape-job industry quips: "....we're just doing business as usual." Business must be good. The abortions performed yearly are in the tens of thousands.
For Liberals, harming the innocent goes way back in our history. Progressive SCJ Oliver Wendell Holmes has a history of court decisions surrounding his support for sterilization of the "feeble-minded" A young German prisoner wrote to the President of the American Eugenics Society and asked for a copy of his paper "A Case for Sterilization". After that German prisoner became German Chancellor and had over 50,000 sterilizations under his belt he sent the President of the AES a thank-you note. One of the AES members is quoted as saying, " The Germans are beating us at our own game!"
But Collins saves the best for last:
"Every time the anti-abortion movement pushes too far, it reminds us that it is because no matter how filled with moral fervor, it is basically about imposing one particular theology (nice touch there Gail) on the rest of the country. Over the long run... the public won't let it happen."

Isn't being a Liberal wonderful. You are always right, always looking out for the women and the children and if anyone disagrees with you, has a religious conviction or just plain could give a rat's ass about what you think; they are extremists and wrong and the 'public won't let it happen.'
Hitler would have been so proud.

"This Town Needs an Enema!"

Fiscal cliff! Everyone got a moving buddy? Be sure your tray tables and seat backs are in the proper position and please keep your hands in the vehicle at all times. Hang on, sorry folks the ride is experiencing technical difficulties, thanks for paying so much attention when you all knew we would just F this thing up anyway.
Then Congress votes themselves a pay raise during this whole debacle. I want to know how many of the so called "Tea Party" had there hands  in on that midnight madness sale? Maybe it was slipped into the Sandy Relief Bill somewhere at the bottom of page 1,387. God knows they never read these things anyway.
I have pretty much had it with these clowns. I have heard that Scott Brown voted for this fiscal package (here's your package right here Scott) and is ready to affix his doomed next campaign to the Feinstein gun bill. I think it is time for a 2013 version of Bastille Day, the sooner the better.

We cannot say that our government isn't transparent. Disagree? Allow me to point out a glaring truth.
For it is alarmingly (trans) apparent that these tools do whatever they want to do right in front of our faces. We see it. We complain about it. Nothing is done about it. Then, we re-elect them to do the same shit all over again... See? Total Transparency.
Benghazi? Nothing will be done (oops! There goes Hillary onto the floor).
Fast and Furious? Executive priveledge. Can't testify. Why can't Holder have an accident also? One that involves a safe falling from the sky.
Obamacare? We were all warned, it was voted on anyways, now companies are scrambling to move to China and close their doors in the wake of crushing nuclear economic winter.
Illegals stealing ID's, pouring across the border? Amnesty.
We can all see how wonderful a job the EU is doing running Europe, hell that place is just a bastion of economic growth and personal liberties! Now, America is emulating it in every way possible.
    Total Transparency!

Now, there is one bright spot, one shining beacon of hope.
    They're coming for our guns!
I was talking to a cab driver in the city. This guy ran with gangs years ago. I told him point blank; " You think the gangs in the cities are going to turn the guns over that easy?" He chuckled and agreed with me. I continued; " I am going to sit on my front porch with a cooler full of beer and watch the Humvees roll past as they head to 'The Hood' and wait for the staccato of open gunfire and urban warfare. Hell, I'll even turn my living room into a makeshift hospital for you guys. The gangs will hand the cops and the military their hats when that day comes."
I was serious! We should consider some negotiating with these guys in preparation. We're gonna need 'em! Think about for a second, they have lots of heavy ordinance, they know the neighborhood and can call up hundreds of able bodied volunteers with one text message. Maybe give some of the leaders a cabinet position or something after the smoke clears. Couldn't be any worse than the criminals who run this outfit now could it?
At least these guys have some honor. They show respect when respect is given and won't cross you once a deal is made, their life depends on it if they renege
They could also be of use in the post revolutionary security situation. God knows the cops cannot be trusted (as a group only, individuals will defect to our side). Just make it clear that medical and fire personnel are to be left alone and given help if needed. Keep an eye on the sky too because you know the Feds will be flying in drones to Hellfire Missile the friggen place.

I sure hope our military leaders tell the Feds to screw when the order is given to round up the American people and the guns. I wonder if the Oligarchs on Pennsylvania Ave have considered this scenario. It sure would toss a monkey wrench into the works if a battery of Patriot Missiles and Abrams Tanks are positioned on various Worcester hills to DEFEND the city instead of invading it. We should paint a giant middle finger on the Holy Cross football field so it can be seen from the air.
For this is MY city. I may get down on it but I live here and I love it here. My kids are here and I will be damned if the Feds think they can roll in and take it over. This town is insane, totally F-ing insane, I know, I live here and they have no idea what they are up against.

To arms America! A call to Arms! We all knew this day would come. Are you ready?..... Are they ready?

The Tragedy That Never Ends

The tragedy of Newtown Connecticutt is a milestone in the history of gun violence in America. The entire argument has changed where the right to bear arms is concerned. Regardless of what side you are on or what ideology you possess it will not matter. This is a monumental event and nothing will ever be the same again.

Whoever the PR person was who convinced NRA president Wayne Lapierre to make a public statement so soon should be fired. It is apparent this person knows nothing about public relations. Where were his media people? What the hell was that guy talking about anyway? I am never disappointed when (supposedly) educated people in positions of power and importance say and do the stupidest things.
Possibly the only partially sane thing that came from that press experience was the idea of retirees guarding our schools. This idea was tossed out along with the rest of Lapierre's bathwater rhetoric.
It may warrant a second look.
I mean, God forbid individuals from individual communities come up with THEIR own plan for THEIR own neighborhood school!...After all, what would the government have left to do?
Service people serve for a basic reason. It is a calling to defend your country and serve your community. Now, we are not talking about hiring crippled old codgers to hobble around the schools with revolvers but this is the image that the LSM will have you believe.
Considering the average age of retirement for police and fire is around 45-50 (thank you Unions!). It is entirely possible to have perfectly physically able bodied people to perform this task. I would suggest we make it a requirement for their pensions since they will last another 20-30-40 years. But, since when do people think these things through in situations like this?

The scary thing is how the general public is actually considering rounding up all the guns as the government knee jerks it's way around this crisis management. Fascism is like a thief in the night. It creeps up on you and you do not realize it until it is too late. If we take all the guns away we will not be able to defend ourselves against either the thief of the fascists.
Jean Jacques Rouseau summed it up best how government capitalizes on a crisis.
"For the rulers well know that the general will is always on the side which is most favorable to the public interest."
Jonah Goldberg defines the quote made famous by Rahm Emmanuel "never let a crisis go to waste."
"The utility of terror...its chief benefits was its tendency to maintain a permanent sense of crisis. Crisis is identified as a core mechanism of fascism...it short circuits debate and democratic deliberations. Hence all fascistic movements commit considerable energy to prolonging a heightened state of emergency."
The Newtown shooting will be one of many catalysts that propel the growing second American Revolution. The first casualty will be the truth. It will pit gun rights advocates against weeping mothers. It will not be about the restoration of our Constitutional rights. It will be about the photographs of departed children at a funeral.

"Crime is not an organizational function, " said Alan Dershowitz, " it is the act of an individual and should be dealt with individually." It is an undeniable fact that guns do not kill people until a gun is in the hands of the wrong person.
So, how about we start there. How about we start with the individual. Who are these people? Who was that nutty kid and his nutty mother? Why didn't anyone do something about them? Where were the mental health authorities? Where was DSS?
Who was that NY shooter? How did a parolee with a history of mental disorders, who beat his grandmother to death, get hold of a gun? Where was his parole officer? I also want to know how these people can afford these weapons. If the Newtown mother was single, struggling, etc, etc. How did she afford so many guns? ... Do you know how much a Bushmaster costs?
The Mafia does not commit crimes. It is the Capo who orders the hit and the Soldier who carries out the order. This is another function of fascism; to target the group and label it dangerous, racist or seditious. The state can easily round up 'groups' of people but is utterly, mechanically unable to deal with anything upon an individual basis.
No matter how this debate unfolds guns are not going away anytime soon. Senator Feinstein can postulate all she wants in front of a table full of weapons. The only thing that will succeed from all this new legislation will be the higher costs to consumers. It will mean more fees and more taxes. It is what is happening with gasoline prices. Jack them up so high that people are forced to buy the product presented to them by those in charge. This is another function of fascism. The only criminals that that will be caught up in this wide net of legislation will be the innocents. It will be the old man whose permit lapses and the cops kick in his door. It will the two ten year old kids with a BB gun in the woods who will now have a criminal record for life. The truly insane and determined criminal will still be a danger to society no matter what the laws..It'll just cost him more to do so.
Besides restrictions on gun ownership go hand in hand with virtually every other law we are subjected to. Do you owe back taxes? Can't own a gun. Pass a bad check over $1000? Can't own a gun. Did your ex accuse you of hitting her? Can't own a gun. Arrested for narcotics? Can't own a gun. It is not my intention to belittle these laws (ok,yes it is). I am simply illustrating how the government never lets a crisis go to waste.

The day after Christmas Mark Stein sat in for Rush Limbaugh on his show. He remarked how the elite, the wealthy, the actors, senators, etc will still be well armed. They will be guarded, protected and be above the fray of legislation, It will be us poor slobs who are left vulnerable and defenseless.
So do not worry about your guns America. Worry about your Liberty. The government does not need to come after your guns just yet. They are not finished with taking away all our Liberties.
Once that job is complete, rounding up the guns will be a piece of cake..

Blueprint for Engagement

I wonder if the reluctance of the various Tea Party groups to saddle themselves with a chosen candidate is due (in part) to the simple fact that few of the candidates understand the simple principles we as a group represent. The three principles I am about to address are usually absent from any dialogue during the election process and are DOA once the elected get seated. They are not universally understood by any of them if, at all.
Michelle Bachman may claim the mantle of the Tea Party Caucus in Congress but she certainly does not represent the principles we profess as is evident from her voting record. Therefore it is imperative that these principles become steadfast and immovable. It is also imperative that our decisions are guided by these principles as we seek to influence politics and the course of this nation.

The three principles are as follows:

1; Limited Government
2; Unapologetic American sovereignty
3; Constitutional Originalism

    Principle 1. Limited Government

The Constitution is very specific on the idea of limited goverbnment. It is the entire basis of the document itself. That government is allowed only so much to prevent tryanny. Today it is anything but limited. It is pervasive into every aspect of our daily lives. Congress passes laws based on knee-jerk politics and constituents who Sen Rand Paul calls "the beseechers"; always asking for an expansion, always demanding their cause is the most important, always that some one else is the bad guy. When Congress passes these laws they are vague in language and are usually passed off to some newly created agency to enforce the law. It is here that the tyranny gets implimented. It is here that the government grows in scope and reach. These agencies get to make up their own rules. We must hold Congress accountable to it's Constitutional obligations and not allow them to abdicate that responsibility to some unelected entity.

In 1819 Chief Justice John Marshall expressed four points when deciding on a bill. These four points are a sort of 'checklist' for Congress to adhere to to act upon something.
The first point is: Is the Bill legitimate?
Is it politics deciding this vote? Is it some nagging activist group demanding this bill? Does this bill address a specific need for the nation?
The second point is: Is the Bill Constitutional?
Does the bill meet the enumerated powers of the Congress? Does Congress have the right (not authority) to discuss such a Bill? Should this be left to the States and/or the people?
The third point is: The means employed by the Congress to carry out the language of the Bill must be Constitutional and plainly adapted to carry out that end.
Bills become political footballs today, deals are made, laws are broken. Self imposed Congressional rules often squash debate on a Bill, back room deals and money exchanges hands routinely. This is not Constitutional.
The fourth point is: The means chosen must also comply with the Constitution.
Should there come a day when Congress actually decides to do it's job the end result must meet all the requirements of the Articles, Clauses and Amendments to the Constitution and in order to carry out the new law said new law must not violate anyone's civil rights as a means to an end.

Congress has become lax in it's enumerated powers. Most Bills are not even read. Officials take money from activists and lobbyists. Senators and Congressmen alike from both sides even buy and sell stock based on the inside knowledge of a particular Bill they are trying to pass. You and I would get arrested, but Congress has benn able to pass it's own rule granting themselves immunity in this area. Congress then turns this legislation over to an agency that operates as a 'fiat' and have employed draconian measures to enforce the laws. These agencies are a defacto law enforcement agency. Why else would the EPA or USDA need armed SWAT to conduct inspections and raids?

    Principle 2. Unapologetic American Sovereignty

Only Congress can ratify a treaty. Deals that were made with other nations during the first one hundred years of this nation were done this way. They were alliances, trade, purchases, sea and land rights and they all had to be voted on. They were outside the pervue of the Constitution and were not to impose upon the rights of Americans. Today, with our friends at the UN treaties are devised and signed with the expressed intent of undermining our liberties within the borders of the United States.
There are UN mandates ranging from war to gun control to the environment that affect our daily lives. All of them designed to trump the Constitution. Many criminal and questions of rights cases have been decided by the Supreme Court using models from the UN and/or other nations as a way to butress a decision. There should be no other litmus used other than our own Constitution.
The push of the myth that we can do something to stop climate change by imposing taxes, caps, regulations on nations is a prime example of this breach of sovereignty. One tactic of Agenda 21 is to get in on the community level and have the communities adopt the language of the treaty therefore bypassing any vote from Congress.
The nation now looks towards any military action from a UN view point. If the UN says no, then any nation defending itself (even pre-emptively) is an aggressor nation and must be sanctioned. The United States must be allowed to act unilaterally any time it is threatened.

    Principle 3. Constitutional Originalism

Liberals think that this concept is an attempt to turn back the clock on social progress. They fail to see how important the Constitution is in all it original form. Said mistakes have been repaired through the Amendment Process.
The Founders made this prcess difficult for a reason. They did not want some future society legislating willy-nilly at every historical bump in the road (oops, too late).
Even the mistakes in the Constitution must (at least) be revered for it is a marker of where we once were and how far we have come in our attempt to "create a more perfect union". As the Tea Party debates and decides how best to apply itself politically we must be mindful to always stick to the tenets of the Constitution. We must be careful not to bend to political winds and vote on something because it is the 'right thing to do'. We must vote based on the three principles and the four points expressed by Justice Marshall.
The Tenth Amendment may enumerate powers to the State and local level but even here State, city councils and town halls have no problem trampling on Constitutional liberties. A prime example would be how the Mass Gay Right Coalition ignored a public referendum shooting down gay marraige so they pulled an end run and sent it to the State Supreme Court where it was decided legal based on feel good politics, not what the people voted on. Even California's Proposition 8 (despite being voted down twice) somehow has found it's way to the national Supreme Court.

I believe these three principles should be explored and debated thoroughly and should be part of a blueprint for engagement as we begin the process of speaking to the power of truth about where this country has been heading and how the Tea Party should galvanize itself into a true political party.

The Traveler's Guide To BizarroWorld: Conclusion or, How To Get Home

Leaving BizarroWorld

.....You can't. You live in it. It is all around you. It is beamed into your livingrooms on a 24/7 basis. It is in the mindless comments you hear your stupid co-workers make. It is in the customer who cannot formulate a sentence in English or provide proper ID to prove who they are when they hand you a stolen credit card. It is in your neighbor who constantly complains about your yard, your stereo, your dog. It is in the stupid cops who keep showing up to answer the complaint instead of telling your neighbor to stop calling them about stupid crap.
You cannot leave because once you drop out of warp back into your own universe you are hit with a shocking realization that this place is no different than the one you just left. And you are correct. Truth in BizarroWorld is like truth here. It has no bearing on anything whatsoever and you will be chastised for speaking it. No one likes truth. It tends to reveal ugly things. The Eagles' song Hotel California sums it all up appropriately; "...you can check out anytime you like but you can never leave..."
BizarroWorld is run by corruption, big money from every corner of life, and fear. It is populated more and more by the lowest common denominator. The electorate has more knowledge on how to buy a refrigerator than they do electing someone. Placating to some one's fear wins every time. The more outrageous the more convincing.

Laws are passed daily preventing the population from functioning in any way that may benefit them yet the leaders can break every law and there is no retribution from justice. Leaders lie to our face and when we call them on it they grin and admit it then, lie again. Then we elect them again. Christianity is called dangerous and Islam is called friendly. Guns are taken away from law abiding citizens while law enforcement is armed to the teeth. Jobs no longer exist like they used to in this country. The ones that are available are low pay, short hours and degrading.
More young people are encouraged to get on State Aid of some sort, get pregnant and place your government sponsored offspring into government managed day-care so they can raise the next generation of government dependencies. Failed citizenship is the largest gross national product. It produces in the millions per year and shows little sign of being affected by the constant cycle of recession.
These laws are specifically written to keep the elected class immune. They cannot be held accountable for any of the same crimes you and I would be imprisoned for. The legislation is purposely written this way and the elected make money from the inside information they obtain while writing said legislation. Principled government has been dead for decades.

The OObi

I want to be sure to make a mention of a strange phenomenon that has gripped the American sector of BizarroWorld. The American sector is headed up by a cult of personality figure named Barack Hussien Obama. He is a Muslim, but has managed to fool the nation into thinking he is Christian. He wasn't born in the United States but that didn't mean anything because as the Globalist he professes to be, the American Constitution and it's rules are mere obstacles to be brushed aside.
His tactic for success was to pander to race, class, culture and his sense of Globalism (ie: environment, the UN, etc). He is, in fact, racist himself but, he has managed to convince the very race he offends that he is their saviour. In reality he has done absolutely nothing.
Oddly enough race in the American sector is a non issue. The Liberals who rule there have a track record of constantly digging up the race issue and making the racial classes believe they are still tragically oppressed. What is even stranger is that despite reality to the contrary, the racial classes absorb this idea as truth... Well, it is BizarroWorld.
There are several other elitists who use the race issue to their advantage. The sad thing is that they are black and/or hispanic. Some are elected officials, some have media outlets at their disposal, some are self proclaimed "Reverands". Here is where another example of BizarroWorld comes into light.
All white male Conservatives who are outspoken are racists. Any female white Conservative is a racist, Any black/hispanic male/female Conservative is a traitor and will be treated worse than the fornerly listed by these elitists. These are important elements to remember when travelling in BizarroWorld. It is imperative that you remain silent and keep your opinions to yourself.

.... But then again, this is part of the plan. This is why you can check out anytime you like but, you can never leave.

I hope you have an enjoyable trip.

An Indivisible Destiny?

American spiritualism is alive and well. Religion is alive and well. The current numbers hover just under 100 million of people who consider themselves "religious" in The United States. I will not include Islam in this number, I am not talking about that. The percentage is under 3% anyhow. What is disconcerting is the attempts by the minority religions and the minority secularists to remove the importance of (Christian) religion in America. It has been a long standing acceptance that America needs to become more politically tolerant of other points of view. I have never seen this "intolerance" myself anywhere in my forty-nine years. I see America always bending over backwards (to her own expense) to placate some one some where. The only intolerance I find is towards those who are Christian.
In Alexandra Pelosi's documentary "Friends of God" she travels America to see what the hype is about concerning the rise of Evangelicals. You cannot miss the tone of her narrative. What she fails to come to terms with is the strength of these people's convictions. Liberalism was never about standing up for something and having a belief system anyways. She cannot reconcile her narrow mindedness to something as Constitutionally fundamental as the Liberty of practicing faith and finding solace within that simple truth. She, literally makes fun of these people thinking she is speaking to a larger American audience. She just makes herself look like the fool.
The removal of religious symbols in the public arena is an attempt to socialize the nation. We have no problem stating that a country is of this faith, or that faith. We do this all the time with The Middle East. However, pose the argument that The United States is Judeo-Christian nation and all hell breaks loose. The idea strikes terror in the hearts of Liberals convinced that the Moral Majority will take over the nation. That is and always has been an absurd position and is catagorically inaccurate. The never ending attempts to remove any vestige of faith from every facet of our Republic is more than just an attack on Christianity in America. It is an attack on our very freedom, a central pillar to our Constitution.
Our ability to worship freely, openly and (yes) publicly is not just a religious act it is a civil act. If it is curtailed and/or opposed then, denied, we are no longer a free society. The Founders were very secular, yet keenly aware of a nation devoid of Providence and His guidance. Christians and Catholics learned the hard way by resisting each other for centuries. They even tried to sanction each other here in the colonies. What they could not have envisioned is a secularist movement in the 20th century that would put the two adversaries square in the sites of Socialism.
Virtually, the entire fabric of our nation is spun on the idea of freedom of religion and it's influence in our daily lives. It matters more than the guns and the press for without our ability to openly proclaim our faith, we cannot have the others. Faith is freedom. It is the proclaimation of the individual of his/ her relationship to God. The State is summarily cut out at the soul level.
That freedom translates into our economy, our foriegn policy, our environmental policy, every policy. Without religion, we are no longer free, without freedom, free economics is not possible, an awareness of the importance of helping each other, fending off the enemy, none of it..Possible. In the book "Indivisible" by Jay W. Richards and James Robison economic value is described as something a person is freely willing to give up to obtain something. The power of the purse. Socialist and Communist societies do not function this way. The people are coerced or, forced to accept something substandard. Even policy is forced upon them. Many policies are now forced upon us here in America. It was while reading this book I came to an epiphany.
We keep seeing attacks on our Republic as various rots that we (as Conservatives) can combat and curtail. I think we are missing the larger picture here. We must come to the defense of religion and openly return it to our daily lives. I am not talking about a Reformation of sorts, nor am I calling for us all to go back to church but if we loose the ability to be who we want in our religion, we loose the whole she-bang.
Perhaps the other attacks are just distractions, even some Liberal Christians think keeping to oneself religiously is a good idea, maybe some forms of secularism is just "the right thing to do". Hitler marched the informers into the ovens first my friends. Look at how far we have come in the last decade alone. There is no mention of God allowed at all in any public meeting. No prayer, no Pastor overseeing the congregation of delegates. Probably explains why so many city meetings are rife with bully politics. Could be why we had Obamacare so easily shoved down our throats. There was no one there to remind the Legislators they have to answer to a higher authority in the end and to cast their votes wisely.
By proclaiming your individuality with your relationship to God the State can never have control over you at all. This is utterly unacceptable to Progressives. It completely changes your outlook on your place and role in society. Issues are no longer pro and con, but entirely re-thought out.

There is a frightening idea floating around that we should pass anti-defimation laws on behalf of religion. Mostly it is Islamics and the Progressives calling for this. Be careful with this one. The baby crying the loudest gets the bottle first. The laws are mostly to insulate Islam from every form of questioning. Great Britain and large parts of France are under intense pressure to adopt laws creating enclaves of Islam within their borders with Sharia (not Democratic) laws. Meanwhile, it is Western Religion that gets the hammer, Western Religion (already) recieves the majority of persecution and you barely hear a word from the Christians or Catholics. Perhaps that will change.
It is interesting to note here that the years of open and purposeful disrespct for Christianity has not produced one iota of terrorism in retaliation during my entire lifetime. I will not get into the same when it comes to Islam, we have to only view recent history to see how that one worked out. I grew up wacthing terrorism from Islam, so did you!
The difference is that Christians are comfortable with who they are as Christians and do not feel the need to retaliate. I would surmise this is not true of Islam. Perhaps the reason they flip out every time a Koran gets wrinkled is because they are NOT comfortable with who they are as Muslims. Mapplethorpe put a crucifix in piss and people flocked to his exhibit. No one blew the place up. Hell, the Muslims I know are so damn serious and hard to deal with. I always feel like I should be careful, lest I offend them somehow. All the Christians I know are happy (personally), a little too intense with how happy they are.
Conversely, it has always puzzled me when people talk about the years of abuse suffered by Muslims at the hands of Americans and Ron Paul's  "blowback". Are we talking about the time we abused Muslims during that peackeeping mission to stop the fighting in Lebanon and our Marines were murdered by a terrorist? Or, are we talking about the time we terrorized a Muslim country called Kuwait from another crazy Muslim, then fed two warring factions in Iraq and protected them for the next decade from that same crazy Muslim? Didn't he set the desert on fire or something?
I know, it was that time we were so heartless to the starving nation of Somalia that was being starved by other (you guessed it) Muslims. Eighteen Marines were killed trying to arrest the leader of that circus act. One was dragged through the streets. Maybe it was the time we bombed Serbia in our attempt to stop the genocide of....Muslims..
Wow, America really does suck doesn't it? What a selfish thing to do to free over 50 million people between 2001 and today in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I was walking the streets of Boston one night after the Rush concert last October. I could not but help notice the amount of homeless sleeping in the streets. The inability of "faith based" charities to be seen as a viable solution to large government entitlement programs is a failure on our part of insisting upon the rights we have as Christians. We have allowed government to take over our job and they suck at it! Poverty grows yearly despite decades of entitlements. The problem stems from the idea that a large entity thousands of miles away can handle a problem better than a local organization within a neighborhood, on the front lines. This is Statism at its most basic. Catholic Charities has been forced out of the charity business due to rulings concerning the abortion funding and adoption rules that run counter to their beliefs.
Here is where it gets nuts.
If any other religious group (Islamic) put up resistance the Left would bend over backwards to respect "multi-culturalism" and backtrack should they offend. But the resistance of Catholics was seen only as bigotry, sexism and homophobia. This brings me back to the basic premise I made about Western religion being at the core of the Left's attack. If they can undermine it and relegate it to the margins they can replace it with the State. The whole purpose of using another religion as a hedge is that Islam is the enemy of Christianity. Socialists will give Islam only enough rope to hang itself.

We must understand that our Religious Liberty goes hand in hand with our Constitutional Liberty. The first few words in the Constitution are "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness". The Left's penchant with abortion rights runs counter to that openning phrase. If the Left is so eager to sanctify taking the life of an unborn child (53 million since the law was upheld) how can we expect them to uphold the remainder of that phrase. The answer is simple, they won't. With the passage of Roe they set their sights on Liberty. Thus began the systematic removal of every reference to anything Judeo-Christian within our culture. It followed with gun laws, taxation, prohibition, drug laws. As this winds down we now see the removal of "the pursuit of Happiness" in the form of redistribution of wealth. Those who have pursued goals, businesses, enterprises are now the targets of the Left who feel that the wealthy have some how deprived the rest of the world of something. Basic economic freedom is pure and grows a larger pie. The Left is consumed with the one size pie theory. They use it all the time to justify their re-distributive theories. What Christianity calls for is the opportunity to grow a larger pie that lifts all of us out of poverty.
Economic freedom does not come from how much is left in the world to exploit it comes from the ideas of man. In 1991 after the fall of the Soviet Union Pope John Paul II wrote " man's principle resource is man himself". The idea that one person can have an idea that changes the world is basically true.
Are you crazy? No wonder the Left wants all forms of Western Religion removed from our nation. The idea of one person in charge of his/her own destiny? Some call Social Services!

We are constantly told a new definition of American Values every election. The idea is recycled to fit whatever political cause is the flavor of the year. Multi -Culturalism is one of those flavors. It is another attempt to fit a square peg into a round hole. We would not demand Multi-Culturalism on say, China. That nation is inherently Chinese. The same applies to Islamic nations, African nations even some South American nations. Why then this desire to do so in The United States?
Let me pose a question. If you were to emmigrate to another nation, would you just up and move or, would you do some research in order to learn about where you are going to live? I know when I moved to Worcester I set out to learn all about the city. I had been here many times before, just never knew that much about it. This doesn't exist in a Multi-Cultural Society. The whole enphasis is on your ethnicity rather than your country of residency. This is why we have entire segments of our population unable to speak, read or write English despite being here for a number of years. There is no incentive to do otherwise because of the forced multi-lingual laws imposed on Americans. People who speak other languages treat me with contempt if I do not understand what they are saying. It would be suicide if I demanded they speak English. I would be accused of racism.
My 90 year old mother offend told the story of the Polish neighbors she grew up with. The children were all expected to learn English for one simple reason.... They were in America.
It had nothing to do with forgetting where they came from or, who they are or, their religion and customs. It was the simple idea of a chance to make a new life in this great nation. To do so meant you learned the language. Studies have concluded unanymously that immigrants who learn the language gain economically better than those who do not. Many of these immigrants are not immigrants at all but illegals. This creates a whole new set of circumstances. Why learn about a nation or, its language when you are so carefree about breaking one of it's most fundamental laws (legal residency). We now have another entire segment of the population completely ignorant of the history of this nation and what it means to be an American. Oh sure, they will say how much they want to be an American (if it wasn't for those pesky border patrol agents). Many of them from countries whose own governments are pure Socialism and or Marxist or worse. The sad thing is that the truly educated, affluent ones who emmigrate do so legally and are few. The majority of illegals are not so well off in that department and so we tend to have an influx of a lower common denominator from other societies. You don't believe me? Just look around you.

Every Liberal trots out the Constitution when it suits their purpose. The rest of the time they are hell bent of subverting it. Another of the catch phrases is "bi-partisanship" or "consensus".  This has devistated the checks and balances system of our government.  Authors James Robison and Jay Richards spoke about the Left's desire to supplant  God and The Constitution with the State in their book "Indivisible". They wrote: "We must support policies and candidates committed to restoring constitutional wisdom to our political institutions." They even go so far as to call for the removal of unsustainable government programs. It was never the intent of our Constitution to provide these programs but the Progressives of the early 20th Century were very good at tugging at our heartstrings and getting these programs rammed through Congress.
Well, now we find ourselves mired in the swamp of government programs that are on the verge of collapse. We can already see what the Larouche Democrats spoke of during my interviews with them on my radio show in 2010: Austerity. What the government giveth, the government can taketh away. Spain is experiencing a terrible by product of austerity. In a recent NY Times article Madrid has hundreds of thousands of homeless people who have been forced from their homes due to cutbacks in subsidies and a coma of an economy. This would not be half as bad if the country had the private services that the United States has to help these people. They do not. There are no private or, faith based organizations there. Socialism has done away with them all.
Bi-partisanship means nothing more than the controlling party telling the minority party what the score is and to play ball or be left in the dugout. In my interviews with the 2010 Independent candidate Patrick Barron he spoke of  how bi-partisanship is a euphemism designed for the public's digestion. It (simply) means nothing. If bi-partisanship was a workable thing then we would have no need for political parties trying to push an agenda. Everyone would just agree what was best for the country..(laugh) Fat chance!
Here-in lies the conundrum. We have to allow the Socialist to speak and gather and promote. It is in the Constitution. The problem is..They won, now we have a problem. It is the same thing as when we all applauded the Arab Spring and the voting in Palistine only to wake up the next day and find out they all voted for Shariah and terrorism. It was all carefully orchestrated and the public swallowed it hook, line and sinker. The same thing happened here in 2008 and now again in 2012.
What is equally disturbing is the idea that telling the truth about the conditions we face is tantamount to slitting ones own political throat. Gov. Bobby Jindal shoots back at Romney for telling us all what we already know? Obama did play the race card. He did promise the sun and moon to minorities. Look at that leaked video of him cutting a deal with Medvedev, why is this such a hard thing to comprehend?

The last thing I want to discuss is this idea that the Republican Party must come more to the middle to connect with the Latino and Black voters. Really? Come more to the middle? If the Republicans come more to the middle we might as well just all be Liberals. What we need to do is define the party for what it "used" to be. The party of THE REPUBLIC. We must use the weapon that is most valuable to ourselves and the future of this nation. The truth, the facts and evidence that supports them both. We cannot get hung up on what the media does to pigeonhole a comment, a statement or an action. What we say and do must be based on hard evidence and demand that the media fact check. Then, we toss it back to them as they attempt to discredit our good name with more facts. Many writers and pundents are asking what went wrong, unfortunately they are concluding the wrong answer. It is not to become more like the other party, that is nothing more than surrender. We must use the tactics they use. If they want to trot out the race card, then so be it. We destroy them with facts. They want to say we are the party of big business, so be it. We point out how they are beholden to the Unions and Communists. We carefully look at every policy that went bad and disassociate ourselves with it. Anti gay? We point out our belief in the rights of the individual. Anti environment? We point out the complicity of the Democrats in selling out our mineral rights to foreigners.
In short, we hit the books America, we reconnect with our faith, our freedom and our destiny as the last great place on Earth where the power of man, who was endowed by the Creator with certain unalienable rights, to create the most amazing experiment ever in the history of the world.

....And That Is The Diatribe....
